Liverpool winger Harry Wilson could be on the move to Fulham this summer with the Reds willing to let him leave permanently.
That’s according to Goal, who report that Fulham have pushed themselves to the front of the queue for Wilson’s signature.
Wilson is with Jurgen Klopp’s squad in Austria right now, but is expected to be sold soon. The Welshman has allegedly accepted that he needs to leave Anfield now.
Fulham are thought to be the favourites, as they have wanted Wilson for some timed could now push for his signature under new boss Marco Silva.
Liverpool seemingly sense an opportunity to land a £15million fee here; they know Fulham paid similar fees for Ivan Cavaleiro and Anthony Knockaert, so think they could do it again with Wilson – especially as they want to immediately return to the Premier League under Silva.
Brentford, Benfica, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion all fancy signing Wilson too, whilst Burnley failed with a £12million offer last season.
Leeds United were allegedly keen, but backed away when they learned that Liverpool wanted in the region of £17million.
The Whites seemingly won’t be back in for Wilson, and the wide man may not even get a Premier League move at all now.
Branded ‘very dangerous’ by ex-Bournemouth coach Jason Tindall, Wilson may need to drop into the second tier to really settle down, and Fulham will be hoping to convince him into such a move.
