The former Spurs boss believes the club are in a brilliant financial position.

A dip in form recently has seen Tottenham Hotspur fall from second in the Premier League table and doubts are again emerging about their chances of ever completing the Premier League title dream under Mauricio Pochettino.
But former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has been commenting on the club’s future chances of winning the Premier League, and is optimistic the feat is just around the corner.
He was speaking to the BBC about his former club this week. He mentioned how Spurs were performing so well on a fraction of the budget that their title rivals were, before suggesting that could easily change.
He stated:
“They’ve not been up there with the big spenders.
“Now with the new stadium the crowds are going to nearly double.
“The man who owns the club, Joe Lewis, is up there with the richest men in the world. So there’s certainly no shortage of money.
“Maybe they do run out of steam, maybe he [Pochettino] hasn’t been able to rotate and could do with another three or four top players to give him the strength in depth.”
Tottenham are indeed in the process of building their new stadium, which is bound to add some clout to the club.
Then there is Lewis. Whilst Daniel Levy may operate the day-to-day running of the club they are actually owned by ENIC Group, with billionaire Joe Lewis the head.

He is among the 300 richest men in the world, so certainly has the financial power to help Spurs spend if they decided to change their policy.
Should that happen, and Tottenham start signing proven quality as well as those with top potential, a Premier League title will begin moving into focus.
