The 24-year-old will be a key player for Tottenham in their Champions League clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu this evening.

Former Newcastle United and West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has outlined how Spurs can get something from the match against Madrid and has some advice for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

“Tottenham will have to press at the right times in the right areas — not in packs of five or six,” Allardyce wrote in The Times. “If they commit too many players forward, their defence will be left exposed. With Cristiano Ronaldo around, that is too big a risk.”
