Harry Redknapp has claimed that Richarlison can ‘drive you mad’ amid rumours that Tottenham want to sign the Everton forward this summer, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Tottenham boss added that Frank Lampard ‘wouldn’t want to lose’ Richarlison, but he then added that if ‘he has no money to spend’, then Everton might have to sell somebody.
If Everton’s financial position is problematic, and they are forced to sell, then that puts someone like Richarlison at the front of their transfer line.

The 25-year-old scored ten Premier League goals from 30 games during the recently-concluded campaign, including six from Everton’s last nine matches – he is seemingly keen on a move to north London.
That is some going for the player, especially given that they were pressure moments for the Toffees in their relegation battle, as Redknapp reacted to Tottenham being linked with the player.
“Are they?” responded Redknapp on Tottenham being linked. “Well, he’s got ability there is no doubt about that. He can drive you mad when you see him diving about and whatever he gets up to.
“He can certainly play. He scores. His assists. No, no, no he (Lampard) wouldn’t want to lose him. But sometimes, in Frank’s position, if he has no money to spend, then he has to sell somebody.”

RICHARLISON COULD BE A GAME-CHANGER
If Everton have financial issues, then it might fall into Tottenham’s hands in many ways, including probably being able to buy Richarlison on the cheap.
Either way, with Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane as the two main guys up for Antonio Conte’s side, Richarlison doesn’t need to come in and steam ahead of them in the pecking order.
The former Watford man needs to hit that 10-12 goal mark in the Premier League and it could prove to be game-changing for Spurs because it’s their main two that carry the heavy burden of scoring the goals.
Either way, this is a transfer rumour worth keeping an eye on because it just won’t go away.
