Tottenham Hotspur are due to travel to the Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid in October.

Spurs travel to the Bernabeu next month with the pressure off, as they will not be expected to pick up any points from the contest.
However, Tottenham’s strong start to their Champions League campaign, means that even if Mauricio Pochettino’s lose they will still be in a commanding position.
And Redknapp has claimed that any result other than a defeat, would have to be celebrated by Spurs.

“It’s a bonus game for them,” Redknapp said, when asked if he believed Spurs could topple Madrid. “If they can go and get a draw, it’s a great result.”
Tottenham have won their opening two Champions League matches this term, and look to be in a great position to quality.
Spurs beat Borussia Dortmund in their first European match of the season, and then ran out 3-0 winners over APOEL last night.

Tottenham were not at their best in Cyprus, but a hat-trick from Harry Kane provided his side with a comfortable victory.
As things stand, Spurs and Madrid have both taken maximum points to date – while APOEL and Dortmund are yet to get off the mark.
