Harry Redknapp has told his self-titled podcast that he really likes Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
Partey was brought to Arsenal from Atletico Madrid by Mikel Arteta in the summer, and has still only played eight Premier League matches.
However, the 27-year-old has wasted no time showing his quality in an Arsenal shirt.
Partey already looks to be one of the first names on Mikel Arteta’s team sheet when he is fit.
And Redknapp feels he is the strongest player that Arsenal have had in the midfield area for years.
“I like the new guy, Partey,” he said.
“He looks a good player, the boy from Atletico. He’s strong, aggressive. He’s not a Vieira obviously, but he looks like the strongest midfield player we’ve seen for a long time at Arsenal. He looks like he’ll be a big bonus.”

Partey’s game is not all about strength and aggression, as he is actually excellent on the ball too.
Partey’s ability to drive through midfield really helps Arsenal out in an attacking sense, and he also makes them look a far more solid team defensively.
Arsenal’s best run of form this season has come when they have been able to call upon the Ghanaian, and that is no coincidence.
Partey was unable to stop his Arsenal side falling to a defeat last night though, as they were beaten 2-1 by Wolves at Molineux.
