Tottenham Hotspur are currently in third place in their Champions League group.
Harry Redknapp has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 11th November, that he still believes Tottenham Hotspur will qualify from their Champions League group.
Tottenham have made an inauspicious start to life in Europe’s top competition, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side seemingly struggling to perform at Wembley.
Tottenham have lost to both Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco in their ‘home’ matches in the Champions League, and they currently sit in third place in their group.
Spurs are likely to have to take maximum points from their final two European matches to make it through to the knockout stages.
And Redknapp believes that Spurs are still capable of getting through: “I still think they’ll qualify. They have two games and they’ll get a result at Monaco and then they have a Russian side at home, which they’ll beat.”
Tottenham were worryingly poor in their last European contest, as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Leverkusen.
Spurs will now have to avoid defeat against Monaco on 22nd November to ensure that they still have a chance of getting through.
Tottenham then close their Champions League group stage campaign off with a match against CSKA Moscow in Wembley in December.
