Birmingham City have taken Ravel Morrison on trial, to see if he can earn a spot in their squad.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Birmingham City have taken Ravel Morrison on trial.
Morrison is looking for a new club, with his exit from Lazio looking likely this summer.
Harry Redknapp has been prepared to offer Morrison a chance to impress at St. Andrews, as he feels that 24-year-old could still have a lot to offer in the Championship.
And Redknapp’s past quotes about Morrison shows just how highly he rates the attacking midfielder.

He said: “He was absolutely different class [at QPR]. He ran the game, everything good we did came from him and we were all watching it thinking, ‘‘What a talent’’. You looked at that performance and thought he could get us promoted on his own if he put his mind to it. It was like watching a player with Gareth Bale’s class in the Championship.”
Morrison’s career to date has been a story of wasted talent, with his attitude continuously being called into question.
Morrison has impressed in flashes, but has never shown the consistency to stick around at one club for long.
If Morrison does join Birmingham, Redknapp will be hoping that the England youth international shows his top form at the Midlands club.
