Harry Redknapp is backing Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United and Derby County to do well next season.

Birmingham City boss Harry Redknapp has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 15th June, that Middlesbrough are his favourites to win the Championship this season.
The Championship looks particularly open going into the new campaign, but Redknapp feels Boro are well placed to bounce straight back from relegation.
The Teesside club are expected to keep the bulk of their squad in place this summer, and their appointment of Garry Monk as manager has gone down well.

Redknapp feels that Boro will have a number of rivals for a top two spot, though.
The Blues boss claims that the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United and Derby County are all well placed to challenge.
“I would make them favourites, Wednesday will be strong again and come close,” he said. “It’s such a tough division… Leeds [will be up there]. Derby should should also be strong.”
Wednesday have fallen short in the play offs for two seasons running, and will be desperate to earn promotion next term.

Leeds, meanwhile, narrowly missed out on a place in the top six last term – and will want to go one step better next term.
However, there is a great deal of uncertainty around Leeds at the moment, as Monk has still not been replaced.
Derby, contrastingly, have a solid foundation to build upon – following the appointment of Gary Rowett.
