Derby County are aiming to win the Championship playoffs this season and get promoted to the Premier League.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp has written in The Telegraph that Derby County have been creating more chances in recent weeks.
Redknapp, who was appointed as a football advisor at Derby in March, has outlined how the Rams’ game has changed recently.
“At Derby County I thought our play was too slow but in the last few weeks we’ve been getting the ball forward a bit quicker and making a lot more chances,” the Englishman wrote in The Telegraph while explaining why a lot of possession does not always bring success.
Redknapp’s comments will be good news for the Derby fans, as the team are preparing for the playoffs at the moment.
Derby have confirmed their place in the top six of the Championship table this season.
The Rams are just three matches away from playing in the Premier League, and Redknapp’s observation that the team are creating more chances is very positive.
