Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has joked that Daniel Levy will still be underpaying Spurs star Dele Alli.
Tottenham have been making the news recently for tieing down several of their star players to new contracts.
The likes of Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have all signed on at the club – as has Dele Alli.

But one former Tottenham manager who imagines that Alli will still be getting underpaid at White Hart Lane is Redknapp.
Speaking on BT Sport Score today he had this to say about Alli’s Spurs deal:
“I bet he’s still not earning what he’s entitled to really at Tottenham.
“With Daniel (Levy) doing the deal with him he’ll still be underpaid for what his value really is.
“He’s probably worth about 50 grand more than he’s currently earning.”
There is no doubt that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is one of the more difficult negotiators in Premier League football.
Tottenham are well known for not overpaying their players, with Levy very keen to keep the club’s wage bill under relative control.

There is likely to be no doubt that Alli and plenty of other players at Spurs could go and earn bags more money at other clubs.
But Tottenham are trying to keep squad morale high by keeping the players on something of an even playing field financially.

But Redknapp knows Levy well and his comments should also concern Tottenham fans.
The club have often lost some of their star players and whilst Levy remains hard-line on salaries, Spurs will always be at risk of losing more.
