The England international excelled for Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Harry Redknapp has told BT Sport that Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose was “outstanding” in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at North London rivals Arsenal.
Harry Kane smashed home a second-half penalty to cancel out Kevin Wimmer’s first-half own goal as Tottenham more than held their own against the in-form Gunners this afternoon.
There were a host of fine individual performances from Spurs lads, with Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele – who won the penalty – arguably two of the most impressive.

But former Lilywhites boss Redknapp has reserved praise for left-back Rose, who tirelessly operated in a wing-back role and managed to keep Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on a very short leash for the most part.
He told BT Sport: “I thought Danny Rose was outstanding. Just fantastic. Strong. If you were in Tottenham’s dressing room you’d have liked how they played today.

Spurs remain without a win in seven games across all competitions, but it was a much-improved performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s side and, with Kane back among the goals, it should, in theory, be the start of a mini resurgence for the Lilywhites.
They also remain unbeaten in the Premier League from 11 games, but they have some tricky tests after the international break against Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham United.
