West Ham United are enjoying a great season under David Moyes, and it got even better on Sunday with a 2-1 win over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hammers have real dreams of European football now, and recruitment under Moyes has been a huge part of the success.
Jarrod Bowen, Craig Dawson and Jesse Lingard are all playing important roles, but it’s the signings from the Czech Republic that have really impressed.
Tomas Soucek was first to arrive in January 2020, and his immediate success meant West Ham moved for his former Slavia Prague teammate Vladimir Coufal.
The 28-year-old cost just £5.5million, but has been one of the top right backs in the Premier League this season as his deal looks like a massive bargain.
Coufal has impressed both defensively and going forward, whilst his committed and energetic displays have made him a fan favourite.

Now, ex-Hammers boss Harry Redknapp has offered major praise for Coufal, highlighting his performance against Jack Grealish in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa earlier this month.
Redknapp suggested that not many players can keep Grealish as quiet as Coufal did, offering him huge backing having fared well against one of the Premier League’s most creative and tricky players.
“He has brought some top players into that squad,” said Redknapp. “Not many people have kept Jack Grealish as quiet as Coufal did when West Ham won at Aston Villa,” he added.
