Harry Redknapp said on Sky Sports News (12:16pm, February 13, 2021) that Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has lost a bit of his spark.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United manager added that Robertson is still an incredible left-back.

Redknapp said about Robertson on Sky Sports News (12:16pm, February 13, 2021): “The left-back’s still great, still an incredible left-back, lost a little bit of that spark recently.”

Is Harry Redknapp right?

Robertson is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and has been superb for Liverpool over the years.

However, the 26-year-old has not been at his best this season and has looked tired at times, something that former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has also noted.

The former Hull City star has been playing regularly for Liverpool for a while now, and such dips in form do happen.

What is important is that the Scotland international recovers soon and gets back to his best.

Liverpool as a team are going through a tough period now, but it is only a matter of time before they come out of the other side.

According to WhoScored, Robertson has scored one goal and provided five assists in 24 Premier League matches, and has made four starts and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
