Kevin Gameiro is linked with a move to Tottenham, and it is not the first time.
The Mirror reported this week that Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro.
Gameiro scored the fastest hat-trick in La Liga in 22 years at the weekend, scoring three goals within a five minute span after coming off the bench.
The Mirror reported in 2011 that Gameiro was Redknapp’s top strike target, after a successful 24 goal season at Lorient, with a £13 million deal mooted.
Tottenham missed out on Gameiro’s signature to Paris Saint-Germain, where he signed a four-year deal.

Gameiro lasted just two seasons at PSG after being used mainly as a substitute, and signed for Sevilla instead,
He won three successive Europa League titles for the Spanish side, and netted 29 goals last season, including a strike against Liverpool in the final.
This earned him a move to Atletico Madrid, but he has been used mainly from the bench.
Gameiro is a proven striker over many seasons and at 29-years-old has plenty more left to offer.
