Spurs are yet to complete a signing this summer under Mauricio Pochettino.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has told TalkSPORT that he expects his old club to complete a signing despite failing to do so with just over a week remaining in the window.

Spurs are yet to complete a signing this summer despite being linked with the likes of Bordeaux’s Malcom, Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt and Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish.

Mauricio Pochettino has worried Spurs fans when asked about the club’s lack of activity, stating that the club could go the whole window without completing a deal for any players – but also stated that the club could sign multiple new additions.

Redknapp believes chairman Daniel Levy will pull a rabbit out of the hat before August 9’s 5pm deadline, which has been pushed forward this season before the start of the Premier League campaign.

“He [Pochettino] seems happy enough with the way it’s all going. He has a great relationship with Daniel [Levy], obviously,” Redknapp said. “Daniel tends to move at the very last minute; he’ll have a two-for-one deal, a buy-one-get-one-free or something.

“He does those deals sometimes. But he pulls off great deals, and I’m sure he’ll have one or two rabbits in the hat he’s waiting to pull out at the last minute.”

Spurs could be after a new centre-back with Toby Alderweireld’s future in doubt, while a new central midfielder could also be added to the Tottenham squad as Mousa Dembele enters the final 12 months of his contract.

But with just over nine days to go, it looks increasingly unlikely that Pochettino will add to his side despite preparing to compete on four different fronts once again after qualifying for the Champions League.
