A recent report had suggested that West Ham were considering Bilic’s future.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
Former West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp has told The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT that was broadcast on November 22nd 2016 that he does not think that Slaven Bilic is fighting for his job at the London Stadium, despite a recent report suggesting that he may well be.
A recent report in The Telegraph has claimed that the Hammers hierarchy are beginning to consider the Croatian’s future after a poor start to the season, and had earmarked four potential managers that they may want to consider should they decide to make a change.
But Redknapp has suggested that he was surprised to hear such rumours and stressed that it would be a mistake for the Irons to part company with Bilic.
“I can’t see Slaven being under any pressure,” he told The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT.

“He had a great year last year. They started the season with a few injuries. They played well at the weekend at Tottenham, I thought it was a real good performance when you’re 2-1 up with four, five minutes to play, it’s not as if the team are not playing for him, I don’t see that.”
Though Redknapp does not believe that Bilic should be under pressure, their current position in the Premier League would make it understandable if the board were thinking of changing things.

They sit 17th in the table and are just one point above the bottom three. And with a daunting run of fixtures ahead, it would not surprise many if that situation was slightly bleaker after they have faced Liverpool in December.
But while their current form perhaps supports that theory – they have not won in their last three – their most recent performance, as Redknapp suggests, should give the club some confidence as they came within minutes of ending Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the domestic season.
