Will the Tottenham Hotspur man challenge for the Golden Boot again?
Harry Redknapp has told Goal.com that he expects Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane to seriously defend his Golden Boot title this season.
The 23-year-old striker, who won the prize last term with 25 goals, announced his return to Tottenham’s first team by scoring a penalty in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates.
It was the Englishman’s first match since suffering ankle ligament damage in the middle of September.

In his absence, a number of the Premier League’s heavy hitters have staked their claim for the individual prize, as Diego Costa leads the way with nine goals – one ahead of Sergio Aguero and two clear of Romelu Lukaku.
Kane’s penalty was his third Premier League goal of the season, putting him six behind the Chelsea marksman, but former Spurs boss Redknapp believes that the Lilywhites star will gradually bridge that gap and challenge for the Golden Boot yet again.
“Kane will be close to being the leading goalscorer again this season,” Redknapp, told Goal.com.

“Everyone wrote him off last year after only four or five games and he ended up being the top scorer. He won’t be far away again this season, make no mistake.”
He has a bit of work to do, but it is obvious that Kane has the talent and goalscoring prowess to catch up with his Premier League rivals.
That being said, the Tottenham star had struggled for goals prior to his injury, and it remains to be seen whether the six-week absence will have negative implications on his goalscoring.
