Who will Tottenham Hotspur sign before Thursday’s deadline?

Harry Redknapp has seemingly backed Tottenham Hotspur to have a real chance of winning the Premier League title if they sign reported target Philippe Coutinho.
The Times have claimed that Spurs are interested in signing the Barcelona playmaker before Thursday’s deadline, with a potential loan deal being discussed.
Coutinho has previously worked with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino during their time at Espanyol, so the move would make even more sense if it were to come off.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (07/08/2019 at 12:30 pm), Redknapp made a stunning claim about the effect Coutinho’s signing could have on Spurs in their bid to win the Premier League title.
“If they can go and get Coutinho they could really be their challenging,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News. “I think they are nailed on for the worst way to finish third, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they got very, very close to the top.
On Coutinho being a good fit: “I think he’d be a good fit for anybody. He’s got great ability. He’s gone to Barcelona and it’s not easy when you walk into a club when you’ve got Lionel Messi there. Messi is the icing on the cake, he makes everything happen. Suddenly Coutinho is in the shadow of him.

“Maybe coming to Tottenham, he’ll come out of that shadow and could be a great player for Spurs there’s no doubt about that.”
As things stand, Spurs have only made one serious addition this summer and that is securing the signature of Tanguy Ndombele.
If Spurs can bulk up their squad in the attacking third then it’ll be a huge boost for the supporters, who previously saw the club sign no players during the previous two transfer windows.
Thursday’s cut-off point is edging closer and Spurs supporters are hoping come Friday morning, they have a number of new additions added to their squad.
