Dimitri Payet has been linked with moves away from West Ham United in the January transfer window.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 7, 2016) that it would be a blow for West Ham United if Dimitri Payet left in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports has quoted Payet as hinting to Telefoot in France that he could leave West Ham in January.
According to The Telegraph, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille are interested in the France international attacking midfielder.
Former West Ham and Tottenham manager Redknapp has suggested that it would be a blow for the Hammers if Payet left in January.

“That would be a disappointment, wouldn’t it, for West Ham?” said Redknapp on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 7, 2016).
“He came to West Ham, he wasn’t a big player really, you know, in France. He has come there, he has had a great time with the Hammers, you would like to think he would stay there.
“He is absolutely idolised by the fans, that will be a blow to West Ham if he did leave for sure. Let’s hope that they can hang on to him.”

Payet scored nine goals and created 116 chances in 30 Premier League appearances for West Ham during the 2015-16 campaign.
So far this campaign, the 29-year-old has scored one goal and created 39 chances in nine league matches for the Hammers.
West Ham are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with just 11 points from as many matches, only a point above the relegation zone.
