The former Spurs manager is a huge fan of the current crop at White Hart Lane.
Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has made some rather bold comments about the current Spurs team, suggesting that their one to 11 is the best in the Premier League.
Tottenham took on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium today – and fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.
Before the game Redknapp, who spent four years as manager at White Hart Lane, was speaking to BT Sport when he made his feelings clear on the Tottenham XI – suggesting there were no better teams in the Premier League on paper:
“The only problem is if they get an injury to Harry Kane. Other than that, I think they’ve got good cover everywhere.

“Harry’s so important. If he gets injured, they’ve got a problem.
“But for me, one to 11, when they are picking their best 11 and the way they are playing with that system I wouldn’t swap that group with any others, even Chelsea’s.”
Spurs certainly have a wealth of talent. In Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld they have two fantastic central defenders. Eric Dier is a brilliant utility player, all four full-backs are international class and the likes of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are often forgotten.

Add Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela to the persuasion and it is easy to see where Redknapp is coming from.
But he is right. There is certainly a lack of cover in the striking position and when Kane is absent Spurs struggle to find the goals to match their game.
Tottenham fans will be hoping that is something they soon manage to eradicate, as they go for the Premier League title.
