Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Champions League final this season.

Harry Redknapp presents for BT Sport television before the Barclays Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane on October 17, 2015 in London, England.

Harry Redknapp has told The Sunday People (print edition, page 26, Sunday, May 26, 2019) that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Liverpool in the final of the Champions League this season.

Tottenham will take on Liverpool at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on June 1.

Former Spurs manager Redknapp believes that Spurs will win the final against their Premier League rivals.

Redknapp wrote in The Sunday People (print edition, page 26, Sunday, May 26, 2019): “I’ve just got a feeling Tottenham’s name may be on the cup. They got out of the group phase somehow when they looked dead and buried, and it has gone from there.

“The Manchester City game… I just get a feeling it’s Tottenham’s year, which is hard on Liverpool because they deserve to win something this year. They have been amazing.”

Champions League final

Tottenham have earned their place in the Champions League final, and the way they got past Manchester City and Ajax in the previous rounds was very thrilling.

Liverpool, though, have a better team, and having played in the final of the Champions League last season, Jurgen Klopp’s side will know that they have more experience of such big occasions that Spurs.

However, in a final anything is possible, and if star striker Harry Kane is fit and starts, then Liverpool will be in for a very tricky time.

One thing is for certain – there will be a few goals in the Champions League final between Tottenham and Liverpool.
