West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.

One of the shock transfer rumours of the January window so far is Andy Carroll leaving West Ham United for Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are interested in signing Carroll from London rivals West Ham in the January transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the former Newcastle United and Liverpool striker, who is out of contract at the Hammers at the end of the season, could be available for £2 million this month.
Carroll is a good striker on his day, but the England international has a bad injury record, and his playing style is unlikely to suit the way Tottenham player under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Of course, anything is possible in the transfer windows, but it is still had to see Spurs hand Carroll an 18-month contract, as reported in The Sun, given that they will not need him once star striker Harry Kane recovers full fitness.
Former West Ham and Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has given his take on speculation surrounding Carroll, and so has ex-Arsenal star Ray Parlour, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT.

Redknapp said on talkSPORT on Monday: “I know they got crosses in yesterday for the goals, but in the main Tottenham really don’t play with wide men, their crosses will come from full backs and I don’t see Pochettino suddenly changing his style to be hitting long diagonal balls up to Andy Carroll and running off him…
“I’m not sure that would be a move Pochettino would go for. And West Ham need him! He started in the team on Saturday!”
Parlour said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (7:33am, January 21, 2019): “It would be a great move for Andy Carroll because you are going to Spurs who are competing in the Champions League and have got some big big games coming up, top four as well.”
