West Ham United signed Jordan Hugill from Preston North End.

Harry Redknapp has told BT Sport that he feels Jordan Hugill can make an impact at West Ham United.
The addition of the target man has not gone down particularly well at the London Stadium, with some supporters questioning West Ham’s ambition.

But Redknapp does think that Hugill could have an impact for the Hammers.
“He’s strong and aggressive. He’s raw,” Redknapp said. “Possibly, he’ll make an impact. He knows centre halves around, and he’s a handful, but it’s a big step up.”

The target-man has a lot to prove, but Murphy thinks that Hugill will be able to connect with supporters.
Murphy said: “I think it’s a clever bit of business. It’s probably worth the risk, the fans might relate to him.”
Hugill has a credible scoring record in the Championship but it remains to be seen whether he can have a similar impact at the top level.
Hugill could make his West Ham debut at the weekend, when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion.
