Tottenham Hotspur beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur make it six Premier League wins in a row with a thumping 4-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Spurs went into the game having picked up league wins over Hull City, Burnley, Watford, Southampton and Chelsea, and having also beaten Aston Villa in the FA Cup last weekend, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were in blistering form.

Whilst Spurs hadn’t beaten West Brom at White Hart Lane for five years heading into the game, it barely proved to be a contest as Harry Kane struck the opener and Gareth McAuley put through his own net to give Spurs a 2-0 half-time lead.

Kane added two more after the break to seal a hat-trick, handing Tottenham a sixth straight win as Pochettino’s side continue to look like the main challengers to Chelsea in the race for the Premier League title.

After the final whistle at White Hart Lane, former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp took to Twitter to state that he felt Spurs looked like real title contenders after a great win against a usually stubborn West Brom side.

Ex-Tottenham players Ossie Ardiles, Micky Hazard and Graham Roberts all took to Twitter to celebrate an outstanding win for Spurs, hailing Pochettino and his players.

Finally, pundit Alan Shearer also hailed Tottenham for a ‘totally dominant’ performance, stating that they looked ‘very impressive’ during their 4-0 win.
