Tottenham ace brought back World Cup memories with free-kick.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier scored a fantastic free-kick to give his side a lead at Wembley against Fulham.
Trippier’s goal put Spurs back in front after Fulham had levelled the game and they went on to clinch a 3-1 win.
It was Trippier’s first competitive game since England’s World Cup semi-final against Croatia.
While England lost that match, it briefly was very special, with Trippier giving the Three Lions an early lead from a free-kick.
He reproduced that moment in Spurs colours, and this time his team went on to clinch the win.

His England teammate Harry Maguire sent Trippier a message on Instagram reacting to the goal.
Maguire wrote in response to Trippier’s post about the win: “Never seen that before.”
Trippier’s crossing had earned him the nickname ‘Bury Beckham’ early in the World Cup, and his free-kick taking is enhancing the moniker.
He proved the World Cup strike was no fluke at the weekend, and has put forward his case to battle Christian Eriksen for more set piece opportunities.
International teammate Maguire is valued at a reported £75 million by Leicester. Tottenham probably rate Trippier in a similar range.
