Harry Maguire reacts to Manchester United signing Jack Butland

Manchester United central defender Harry Maguire has taken to Twitter to send a message to Jack Butland after the goalkeeper completed a move to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace.

Premier League giants Manchester United have announced on their official website this morning that they have signed Butland on loan from Palace in the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper will stay on loan at Old Trafford for the rest of the season.

Butland has taken to Twitter to expressed his delight at the move, and United and England international central defender Maguire has welcomed him to the Red Devils.

What a move!

Jack Butland must be over the moon at joining Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world and arguably the biggest in England.

The goalkeeper was a squad player at Palace, and now he will play for United, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Yes, David de Gea is the number one goalkeeper at the Red Devils at the moment, but you never know what could happe.

If the Spaniard goes through a bad spell or suffers an injury, then Butland will get his chance.
