Harry Kewell has positive words for Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Leeds United and Liverpool striker believes that the new stadium and manager Mauricio Pochettino’s ability to improve players will draw new signings to Tottenham.
Kewell told Sky Sports: “Players do want to come there. They do look at the training ground facilities where they can improve as a player, and players know from the past that Pochettino does improve players, so players would go there and think, ‘Am I going to improve?’Yes. Do I get to play in a wonderful new stadium?’ Yes’.
“You are looking at the team, they are playing in the Champions League, these are the things that attract great players.”

Signings needed?
Tottenham did not sign a single player in the summer of 2018 or in the January transfer window, and perhaps the North London outfit need to add to their squad in the summer of 2019.
True, Spurs have done well with the squad that they have, but they have fallen short of winning the Premier League title once again.
For Tottenham to challenge the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the championship in the coming years, they do need to add good players to their current squad and make sure that they retain the services of their major stars.
Jermaine Jenas worry
Meanwhile, Jermaine Jenas has admitted his worry regarding Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Spurs lost 2-1 to Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League this past weekend.
Pochettino’s side are now just a point and a place above bitter North London rivals Arsenal in third place, and former Tottenham midfielder Jenas believes that the team are in danger of dropping outside of the Champions League places.
Jenas said on Match of the Day on Saturday (March 9, 2019): “It’s worrying, very worrying. On this form and the way they are going, they are not going to make the top four. They need to sort that out.”
