Harry Kane’s response when asked if Son Heung-min is underrated

Son Heung-min scored for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has spoken highly of his teammate Son Heung-min to The Telegraph.

Son is playing well this season and was on target for Tottenham against Stoke City at the weekend.

The South Korea international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, found the net in the 53rd minute, as Spurs hammered the Potters 5-1 at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League game.

The 25-year-old has scored three goals in five Champions League appearances and four goals in nine Premier League starts for Tottenham so far this season.

Tottenham star Kane, who is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and in the world, has spoken highly of Son.

When asked if Son is underrated, Kane told The Telegraph: “It is down to you guys and how much you talk about him but, for me, he is a fantastic player. Maybe he does not get spoken about as much but he is making a real impact here.”

Son has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2015 when he joined from German club Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £22 million and is one of the most important players in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
