Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane and Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah are aiming to win the Premier League top scorer’s award this season.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has praised Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, as quoted by Sky Sports.

Kane has said that Salah is having an amazing season, and the England international striker is also relishing the challenge of competing with the Egypt international winger for the Premier League top scorer’s award.

Salah has scored 29 goals and provided nine assists in Premier League so far this season, while Kane has scored 25 goals and provided two assists in the league so far this campaign.

“We will see,” Kane told Sky Sports when asked if he can catch Salah. “He has done great, he has had an amazing season and has gone ahead, so we will see.

“Because we are battling against Liverpool for the top four as well it’s a bit of excitement. He scores four, let’s see what I can come back with.

“Whatever happens at the end of the season both of us will have had good seasons and we both enjoy it. It’s just the competition and trying to win, that’s what I enjoy.”

Fascinating battle

Kane has been the top scorer in the Premier League for the past two seasons, and the England international striker will be determined to make it three in a row.

Salah’s current form, though, will make it very hard for the Spurs star, who will have to make it a point to score in each and every Premier League game from now on.

The former Chelsea winger is scoring goals for fun at the moment, and it would not come as a surprise if he crosses the 35-goal mark in the Premier League this season.
