Harry Kane’s agent has reportedly been recently approached by Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga giants open to signing the striker if the attacker doesn’t pen a new contract with Tottenham this season.
According to Sport Bild, the German side have been in contact with Kane’s agent about a potential move in 2023, with Bayern keen to sign a new leading striker following the departure of Robert Lewandowski this summer, with the England captain the Bavarian club’s number one option in the transfer market.
Kane’s future still looks to lie in north London with Tottenham, however, rumours of Bayern’s interest in the striker are continuing to mount, with the European side seemingly intent on landing the 29-year-old striker in 2023 as their true replacement to Lewandowski.
Bayern signed Sadio Mane this summer as Julian Nagelsmann looked to take the reigning German champions in a new direction with their attack. However, results have been poor for the Munich side, with the club currently on a four-game winless streak as their most recent fixture ended in a 1-0 loss to local rivals Augsburg.
With rumours of a move for Kane mounting, it will take some effort from Bayern to prize Daniel Levy from his star player and his most valuable asset, especially with the striker hitting the prime of his career and looking to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record.
Indeed, Bayern signing Kane will be one momentous task from the Bavarian giants, and based on their spending this summer, Tottenham’s European rivals will more than struggle to match what Levy and Antonio Conte will likely want for the England superstar, especially of the forward has another productive season.

Silverware might be enough to draw Kane to signing for Bayern, yet the German club themselves will have their work cut out in 2023 if they’re actually set on landing the Tottenham star, with Levy known throughout the footballing world as a hard man to negotiate with.
Kane could easily fetch a Premier League record fee as well as a record transfer for and English player, and for Bayern, these two factors could make signing Kane quite the impossible job next year if they’re to go ahead and move for the England captain.
