Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told The Daily Mail that he hopes that West Ham United win against Chelsea this evening.

West Ham will take on Chelsea at the London Stadium in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

The Blues are at the top of the league table at the moment with 63 points from 26 matches, seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham.

A win for Chelsea will see them restore their 10-point lead at the top of the table, and Tottenham striker Kane hopes that this does not happen.

“I am supporting West Ham, we don’t normally say that here,” Kane told The Daily Mail. “Of course we want West Ham to win because we want to catch Chelsea and we want them to drop points.”

Chelsea are in great form at the moment and will head into the London derby against West Ham as favourites.

Despite being the visiting team, Antonio Conte’s side will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter.

Former Arsenal star Martin Keown believes that Chelsea will win the encounter 3-1.

“I can see West Ham scoring if Andy Carroll plays but there is so much space at the London Stadium for Chelsea to exploit — as Manchester City have done twice this season – West Ham 1-3 Chelsea,” Keown wrote in The Daily Mail.

West Ham are a good team, and one should not dismiss their chances of getting the better of London rivals Chelsea by a single goal.
