Watford striker Troy Deeney has written in The Sun that he thinks that Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane will move to Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Deeney, who is back playing in the Premier League this season with Watford, believes that English champions City will pay whatever Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants for Kane.

City suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League last weekend.

Kane did not play for the North London club in the game.

The Times have reported that City are planning to make a bid of £120 million for the England international.

The Telegraph reported in July that Levy values the striker at £160m.

Deeney wrote in The Sun: “After everything that has gone on this summer, I think Harry Kane will get his move.

“Daniel Levy will be very, very happy with Sunday’s result, winning 1-0 against Manchester City, who will now get to Tottenham’s number and evaluation — however much that is.”

What should Manchester City do?

Tottenham chairman Levy is under no obligation to sell Kane this summer.

After all, the striker has a contract with Spurs.

City need to increase their bid and pay what Tottenham want, which is reportedly £160 million.

Now, that is a lot of money for a 28-year-old, but we all know what Kane is capable of and the impact he could make at City.

The Premier League champions also need to make a bid now, as Tottenham are unlikely to sell in the final days of the transfer window because they could run out of time to bring in a suitable replacement.
