Alvaro Montero has shared that the relationship between Florentino Perez and Daniel Levy is healthy amid Real Madrid’s transfer interest in Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.
The Spanish journalist shared the news that Harry Kane is Real Madrid’s ‘number one’ target this summer, with Karim Benzema set to leave the La Liga giants at the end of the month.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has always been known to be a tough negotiator, but perhaps Real Madrid’s chief Florentino Perez will see it differently because their relationship was described as ‘good’ by Montero, as he told Sky Sports News (04/06/23).

This is going to be key because when you knock on Levy’s door or ask him to pick up the phone, then those on the other end are going to be well aware of how stubborn he is going to be.
Given that it’s a club outside of the Premier League, then it might just make life easier for Madrid in getting their man.
One thing is for sure, with Benzema heading for the exit door, a replacement is needed and someone like Kane is the perfect fit, even Levy himself would see that, with Spanish football journalist Montero sharing his thoughts.
“They are speaking about Harry Kane,” said Montero. “Everybody believes he can be target number one for this summer.
“In Marca and AS, Spanish-important newspapers, they believe it’s option number one for the club and also for Carlo Ancelotti. Why? Because he is almost a 30-year-old striker. Very well known all around the world. They believe he won’t need time to play for Real Madrid and to adapt. He is one of those players that can fit perfectly in the very first moment. They think it’s a safe bet.
“Daniel Levy and Florentino Pérez have got a good relationship. They believe that if Levy lets the player get out of the Premier League, then it’s easier for Real Madrid to sign Harry Kane than another Premier League team.”

HARRY KANE SHOULD ACCEPT MADRID OFFER
This is where the 29-year-old needs to really push and start the road of cementing a proper trophy-winning legacy for his career.
He can’t turn down an approach from Madrid, and if Levy is difficult about it, then he needs to start sticking his chest out.
From possibly winning the European Cup to possibly the Ballon d’Or, this is Kane’s chance to win the lot in Madrid. He just now needs to make the move because it’s obvious that he is wanted.
