Harry Kane tells all about Tottenham Hotspur squad, discusses their chances in the Premier League

Harry Kane has been praising and embarrassing his teammates whilst reviewing their chances in the Premier League.

Harry Kane has not hit the back of the net for his club since the third last match of the 2015/16 Premier League season.

At the beginning of last year, Kane endured a similarly barren run, failing to score in his first six league games.

Yet Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker ended the campaign as the winner of the golden boot, finishing one goal ahead of Jamie Vardy and Sergio Aguero with 25 strikes to his name.

His goals are key to his side picking up maximum points and storming up the table. Spurs finished an underwhelming third after falling away from champions Leicester City at the business end of the season. But Kane, speaking in a YouTube video by football channel Copa90, is confident the club can go two steps further this time around.

“Yeah, definitely,” Kane responded when asked if Spurs can repeat a title challenge in the Copa90 YouTube video.

“We’ve been through a lot together as a team. Last year [there was] ups and downs, so hopefully more ups this year and we can go all the way.”

The 23-year-old then went on to hail some of his teammates, yet, also to shame a few too.

“I think Erik Lamela [has the best skills],” Kane said. “He’s got some great skills, also [the] rabona goal, [he’s] always got a ball at his feet, always doing different types of skills. So yeah, he’d definitely be the most skilful.”

“[The] biggest moaner would be Danny Rose, definitely, [he] loves to have a moan up on the pitch.”

“Worst dressed [is] definitely Eric Dier, everything is baggy. He needs to buy some stuff that fits him.”

“Probably Tom Carroll [has the best banter], who’s got a good bit of banter. He’s quite witted. He likes to have a bit of fun.”

Spurs sit seventh in the table with five points after three games, following two 1-1 draws and a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has a squad full of players that respect each other, and as we saw last year, perform admirably in the Argentine’s system when in full flight.

However, they must turn around their poor start in order to match Kane’s confidence and to do so Spurs will certainly need their star striker to rediscover the form that won him the golden boot last campaign.
