Tottenham striker Harry Kane says Tottenham need to create more chances against Partizan Belgrade in order to win.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been discussing the club’s upcoming Europa League encounter with Partizan Belgrade.
Kane started the last encounter, coming close to breaking the deadlock in the 0-0 draw, hitting the woodwork.
To beat the Serbian side, Kane says Tottenham need to be more creative – he told the club’s website:
“Partizan made it hard for us away from home but I’m confident that at White Hart Lane we should be able to create more chances and get the win.”
Kane is however suggesting something which isn’t very hard at all, to do more than they did away from home.
In Belgrade, Spurs created only three goalscoring opportunities – and from them failed to register a single shot on target.
| Match | Chances Created | |
|---|---|---|
| Tottenham | Hull City vs Tottenham | 19 |
| Tottenham | Arsenal vs Tottenham | 5 |
The lowest number of chances Spurs have created in a game this season other than the Belgrade encounter is five, a match away to Arsenal in which they scored.
They are also coming off the back of their liveliest game of the season, having fashioned 19 chances away to Hull in the 2-1 win.
