Harry Kane says he is happy for Daniel Levy to carry on with his methods.

If there was one player with the pull to criticise Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and get away with it, then fan favourite homegrown hero Harry Kane could probably do it.
The England striker though believes the Spurs supremo should continue with his strategy of spending at the last minute if that is what he is happy to do.

Tottenham are infamous deadline day spenders, last year splurging £40 million to sign Moussa Sissoko and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
Unfortunately neither of those panned out, and Levy is under pressure to turn it around this season.
He told The Telegraph: “Daniel likes to do it on the last day to get the best deal, but we just have to wait and see.
“Daniel is a great businessman, the way he runs the club, the new training ground, the new stadium. He does what he wants to do.
“Some chairmen are different. But he does what he does and feels it’s the best way to help out the team.”

As Tottenham’s top earner, it would be a surprise if Kane rocked the boat – and teammate Danny Rose may not share his opinion.
Now Levy needs to repay the faith his key striker has in him. Whether this gamble is really necessary every year is highly questionable, but fans will have a clearer picture of the situation at 11pm tonight.
