Harry Kane should consider a push to join Bayern Munich to get rid of the ‘bottler’ tag thrown at him by rival fans.
Harry Kane is widely viewed as a man not built for the big occasions
Due to the fact that Tottenham are yet to lift a single trophy since 2008, the club are often ridiculed for their lack of silverware for over a decade.
Since Harry Kane is the face of Spurs for all practical purposes, he has to take a chunk of the criticism for his boyhood club as well.
Unfortunately, several fans question Kane’s big-game credentials, while not taking into account that he plays for the Lilywhites, who have never been a truly dominant force in the Premier League era.
The 29-year-old’s goal record against the ‘Big Six’ is often reductively used as a stick to beat him with, but it is still a respectable 38 goals in 87 games.

Kane should say yes to Bayern Munich to get rid of the ‘bottler’ allegations
Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed on The Done Deal Show that Bayern Munich “like” Harry Kane, and would be interested in signing him.
In the summer, Bayern chief Oliver Kahn himself told Christian Falk, as relayed by Fabrizio Romano that wrapping up a deal for the Englishman would be a “dream” coup.
With the Bundesliga champions in need of a striker after losing Robert Lewandowski in the summer, Kane, compared to the great Karim Benzema by Arsene Wenger would be an instant fit in one of Europe’s best sides.
Furthermore, joining the German giants gives the Premier League great the golden opportunity to get rid of his reputation as a bottler.
After all, Bayern Munich have won 10 Bundesliga titles in a row.
And since the 2010s, the club have already won two historic trebles.
Harry Kane clearly has all the talent in the world to play in a trophy-winning side, lift silverware and be remembered as one of his generation’s greatest ever strikers.
Considering the strength of the competition in England and Spurs’ recent history of not winning trophies, all Kane will have at his disposal is perhaps the all-time record for most goals scored in the Premier League.
In terms of collective trophies, the same cannot be said.
At 29 years of age, Kane’s chances of international success are also limited.
With Bayern Munich being serial winners, Harry Kane could be classed as one too if he takes a leap of faith to Bavaria in the summer.
