Tottenham Hotspur will be bitterly disappointed having failed to beat Burnley at the weekend.

Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur takes a shot during the Premier League match between Burnley FC and Tottenham Hotspur at Turf Moor on February 23, 2019 in Burnley, United Kingdom.

Tottenham ace Harry Kane spoke to reporters after his side’s disappointing defeat to Burnley on Saturday, and suggested that everyone will be saying once again that his team are out of the title race, as quoted by Sky Sports.

Spurs now sit five points adrift of second placed Manchester City, and a further point behind league leaders Liverpool, with just 11 Premier League games remaining.

On the most part, Tottenham have been extremely impressive this season, but they always seem to falter when the pressure is firmly on, and they are being talked about as potential league title winners.

Kane spoke to reporters after Saturday’s defeat at Turf Moor, and admitted that the same old questions will now once again be asked of him and his Spurs teammates, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“It would be nice if we could have put the pressure on and won the first game and built from that. We don’t always want to be having to react from a poor result. But we’ll dust it off. We’ve still got a lot to play for. People will probably say now it’s a two-horse race but that’s not our problem. All we can do is take care of ourselves.”

Next up for Tottenham is a trip to Chelsea on Wednesday night, before they play host to Arsenal the following Saturday, and nothing less than six points will do from those games, if they are to remain in the title race.
