Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is arguably indispensable to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
During an exclusive interview with Sky Sports News, broadcast at 14:09 on December 13th, Spurs striker Harry Kane discussed the main two factors behind his decision to sign a new long-term deal with the club.
The 23-year-old put pen to paper on a new contract on December 1st that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2022, and he became the latest in a long line of Tottenham players to have committed their futures’ to the club in recent weeks.

The England international spoke exclusively to Sky Sports about his decision making process before agreeing terms on a new contract, and highlighted two very important factors that convinced him that staying at Spurs was the best thing for the progression of his career:
“I’m very happy to be here, the club’s moving in a great direction. The manager is a big part of our plan going forward, he has a great vision, and he’s a great guy to work with. And of course going into he new stadium in a couple of years, I’m excited for that.”

Kane’s importance to the Spurs side was underlined during his six week absence, when Tottenham managed to win just two league games while he was out of the side.
He has come back from his injury looking fitter and stronger than ever, and has scored seven goals in as many appearances since his return.
