Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is full of confidence heading into Southampton clash.
During an extensive interview with the club’s official website, Spurs striker Harry Kane discussed his side’s campaign thus far, and suggested that back-to-back wins in their next two games will represent a decent first half of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men head to the south coast to take on Southampton, before they play Watford at Vicarage Road on New Year’s Day.
And Kane, 23, explained how his side is full of confidence heading into the games against the Saints and the Hornets, highlighting how Tottenham have another level that they have not yet reached so far this term, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:

“They’re going to be tough games. Obviously playing away from home in the Premier League is always difficult. Southampton are a great side, they’ve proved that over the last few years and obviously with Watford – we found it difficult there last year. If we do manage to win both games we’ll be on 39 points – that wouldn’t be a bad start and we know we’ve got another gear in the locker as well.”

Kane has scored nine goals in 15 appearances in all competitions for Spurs so far this term, and his six-week absence from the side earlier on this season was a major contributing factor to their run of just one win in six league outings.
They currently sit 13 points behind league leaders Chelsea, but a win for Tottenham at St Mary’s would see them close the gap to just 10, with the pair set to face each other on January 4th.
