Tottenham Hotspur have made a slow start to the campaign, and were knocked out of the League Cup in midweek.

Spurs have won just two of their last eight games across all competitions, and they have looked extremely vulnerable at the back.

Spurs failed to get past their League Two opponents and were eventually knocked out on penalties.
It was the most humiliating result that Tottenham have suffered in recent memory and Kane admits it is difficult to know where his side are going wrong.
“It’s hard to put a finger on it,” Kane admitted. “We feel like we’re training well, doing everything right, but maybe we haven’t started games with the right energy.
“The [Crystal] Palace game (which Tottenham won 4-0) was the best example of how we should start; on the front foot and pressing, ruthless with chances, and that’s what we’ve done in previous seasons, especially at home.”

Tottenham have been guilty of throwing away too many leads, with Arsenal, Olympiacos and Leicester City all coming from behind to take points off Pochettino’s side.
Spurs need to tighten up at the back and show more creativity in attacking sense from now on, if they are to live up to expectations this term.
