Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is eager to make up for lost time.
The England international has not played since the start of the year, when he suffered an ankle injury.
The delayed season has done Kane, and Tottenham, a big favour by giving him extra time to recover.
Kane is excited to return, and sent a message to supporters last night, accompanied by a picture of him training at Hotspur Way.
This also acted to relieve fears that Kane could be the mystery Spurs player told to isolate for seven days.
Jose Mourinho’s side are preparing for a comeback game at home to Manchester United.
United’s resurgent defence had conceded just two goals in 11 games before the break, so Kane will be in for a tough test.
