Tottenham Hotspur striker scored his first goal for the club.

Fernando Llorente is off the mark for Tottenham Hotspur, scoring his first goal for the club last night.
He netted in the first half in the Champions League win over APOEL Nicosia at Wembley, scoring the opener in a 3-0 win.

The Spanish striker signed for Spurs on transfer deadline day but has struggled to make an impact until now.
Llorente has had to play second fiddle to Harry Kane, and now he is off the mark, he may begin putting the England international under a little bit of pressure and relieve the burden on their top scorer.
Kane was pleased for Llorente, and sent a message to him on Instagram, as well as winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who also netted his first.
Llorente is an experienced striker who has been there and done it at the top level, and he was clearly a lot better than his early performances for Tottenham suggested.
He netted 15 goals in the Premier League for Swansea City last season, and if he can kick on now and get close to that figure for Spurs then he will end up being recognised as a successful signing despite his slow start.
