Tottenham fans impressed with striker’s performance
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored one goal and provided an assist in the win over Southampton.
Kane’s contribution helped Tottenham to a 3-1 victory at Wembley, and back above Arsenal in the Premier League table.
Kane now has nine league goals this season, just one short of Premier League top scorer Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
The Tottenham and England striker is key to Tottenham’s success and they quickly put the disappointment of the North London derby defeat behind them.
Kane sent a message to supporters on Twitter after the win.
Tottenham fans will always appreciate Kane’s contributions and the responses to his message said a lot.
The only negative was that there were worries Tottenham should have brought him off earlier to rest him with the game already wrapped up.
Tottenham face Leicester City at the weekend, before a trip to Barcelona next week.
Last night was a good warm up game for Kane, showing he is coming into form ahead of that crucial fixture.
