If Harry Kane can remain injury-free next season, can he score 30+ goals in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur?

Rio Ferdinand has labelled Harry Kane’s injury-time winner for Tottenham Hotspur as ‘nasty’ as Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat Juventus 3-2 in a pre-season friendly.

The Premier League club and the Serie A champions were facing off in Singapore with the scores level at 2-2 before Kane produced a moment of magic by trying an audacious shot from the halfway line which looped over the head of Wojciech Szczesny.

In the game itself, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura were the goalscorers for the North London club, with club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele playing his part in Moura’s effort. – Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain were the scorers for Juve.

Nonetheless, Kane sent this message on his personal Instagram account, with the likes of Roberto Soldado and Kyle Walker-Peters responding.

From Tottenham’s perspective, it will hopefully be a sign of good things to come from Kane, who once again endured a number of injury problems last season.

There’s no doubt that if Kane can remain injury-free then he can possibly score 30+ goals in the Premier League alone, but he needs to play his full quota of games during the season in order to potentially reach that landmark.

At this moment in time, Kane is Tottenham’s only senior striker, although the likes of Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son can deploy that role if need be, but Mauricio Pochettio needs more legs in that area.

Whilst Kane is destined to get goals for Tottenham, there is also an injury concern over his head, so some cover will be needed for the North London club ahead of the new campaign.
