Harry Kane was back to his usual best as Tottenham Hotspur secured a comfortable win in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Harry Kane has stated on Instagram that Tottenham’s 5-0 win against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night is ‘something to build on’.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side produced a very strong performance in front of their own supporters, with Kane netting a brace alongside Heung-Min Son, as Erik Lamela also chipped in with a goal.
It was a much-needed result and performance from Pochettino’s men because the whole club needed a lift following a number of indifferent displays.
After Spurs put five past Belgrade, Kane sent this message from his personal Instagram account, with ex-striker Robbie Keane simply responding with ‘get in’, as he was clearly delighted that Spurs are back to winning ways.
Aston Villa defender, Tyrone Mings, who played alongside Kane for England earlier on this month, also sent a series of clapping emoji’s to his Three Lions captain.

As mentioned by Kane, it is important Spurs now build on this and move forward because they simply cannot allow their season to fester on in a negative manner.
Tuesday’s result and performance perhaps comes at the right time because they can now go into Sunday’s game against Liverpool with a little spring in their step.
The Reds are unbeaten in the league and they are sitting top of the Premier League table. Most of the pressure will be on them, so Pochettino will be hoping his players can feed off that.
Players such as Kane are back scoring, Son is showcasing his class again, and with more minutes under his belt, Dele Alli is getting better and better.
