Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane did not start the Euro 2020 finals strongly for England.
The striker could not score in England’s opening three games at the European Championship, and there were calls for head coach Gareth Southgate to drop him from the starting lineup.
There were suggestions that Kane is getting slow, and murmurs that the 27-year-old can only last 60 odd minutes.
Kane could not score against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic.
The Spurs star finally found the back of the net against Germany in the Round of 16.
And tonight Kane exploded.

Kane scored twice, as England eased past Ukraine 4-0 in Rome to book their place in the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
The Tottenham no.10 found the back of the net first in the fourth minute and then five minutes into the second half.
The striker could have added a third and completed his hat-trick before he was substituted.

Kane took four shots, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 84.2%, won three headers, took 33 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one interception and one clearance.
Former Liverpool and England international striker Michael Owen has given his take on Kane’s heroics on Twitter, and so has Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
