Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against Manchester City in the Premier League at the weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told Ham&High that Hugo Lloris has been outstanding all season.
Lloris made two errors in the Premier League game against City at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend.
The France international is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and his mistakes against the Citizens on Saturday evening came as a surprise.
The 30-year-old’s performance could have cost Spurs all three points as both of his errors ended in goals for the home team, but in the end the match finished in a 2-2 draw.
Tottenham striker Kane, who is 23 years of age, has defended Lloris and has praised the Frenchman.

“Hugo, for me, has been outstanding all season,” the England international striker told Ham&High. “He’s one of the best keepers in the world and, that said, you have days when you’re not always on it.
“He kept us in it in the first half, made some fantastic saves and then we bounced back like we needed to.”

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 22 matches.
Spurs are nine points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea and are very much in the running for the league title.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Wycombe Wanderers at White Hart Lane in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
