The Tottenham Hotspur hitman is still yet to win a major trophy during his time at the club.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane sat down for an exclusive interview with ESPN, and shared the one thing that Spurs must continue to do, if he is to remain in north London.

The 25-year-old is now widely considered to be the best out-and-out striker in world football, having chalked up 164 goals in 249 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham thus far.

Kane has also bagged 22 goals in 37 appearances for England.

He is under contract with Spurs until the summer of 2024, but that hasn’t stopped him being linked with a move to one of Europe’s most elite clubs.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen on signing the Kane, according to the Express, but the England international told ESPN that he is happy to stay at Tottenham, as long as the club continue to match his ambition:

“I’ve always said as long as the club is moving in the right direction and showing the right ambition, I want to be part of the journey.”

Tottenham have some vital games coming up over the next few weeks, with Premier League clashes away at Liverpool and Manchester City, and their Champions League double header against Pep Guardiola’s men.

And if Spurs are to emerged unscathed from that period, they will need Kane to be on his very best form.

If the Englishman is to stay in north London, Tottenham must surely win something sooner rather than later, but whether they will do that this season still remains highly doubtful.
